Join us on the evening of Tuesday, March 13th as we pair the world class wines of Le Macchiole with the luxurious and gourmet Italian Cuisine of Centini Restaurant. This memorable evening will feature a special selection of back vintage and current release wines paired seamlessly with 4 courses of Tuscan cuisine.
Le Macchiole was one of the first wineries established in the Bolgheri Region of Western Tuscany. Cinzia Merli and Eugenio Campolmi planted their first vines in the early 1980's, and embraced the "Super Tuscan" movement and the Bordeaux varietals for which this region is now famous. Over the last 30 years, Le Macchiole has garnered international acclaim for their outstanding single varietal wines produced from Merlot, Cabernet Franc and Syrah. These wines truly rival the great Chateaux of Bordeaux, but they do not imitate them. The wines of Le Macchiole are distinctly Tuscan, and they represent the fullest potential of this celebrated wine region.
